Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 2 Onions
  • 4 Pork chops (about 200 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS clarified butter
  • 250 g Whipped cream
  • 100 g Gouda cheese

Directions

    Wash the chives, shake dry and cut into rings. Peel onions and cut into thick slices. Wash the meat, dab dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat lard and fry chops in 2 portions on each side for 3-5 minutes.

    Take the meat out and keep it warm. In the same pan, fry the onion slices for approx. 4 minutes, turning them over, and take them out. Pour cream into the pan, bring to the boil, remove pan from the heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Cut the cheese into cubes and add to the sauce. Arrange chops and onions with the sauce on plates. Garnish with chives. Serve with farmhouse bread.
