Ingredients

  • 1 Vegetable Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Limes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 600 g mixed minced meat
  • 150 g Mung bean seedlings
  • 250 g Basmati rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 6 Stem(s) Coriander
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Sambal Oelek
  • 7-8 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 1 pinch Sugar

Directions

    Peel the vegetable onion and dice it roughly. Peel garlic and chop coarsely. Wash the limes thoroughly, grate them dry and grate the peel from 1 lime. Halve the lime and squeeze the juice.

    Cut 1 lime into pieces. Heat the oil in a pan, crumble the minced meat into it and fry vigorously while turning. In the meantime, wash the sprouts, put them in a bowl, pour boiling water over them and let them steep for 2-3 minutes.

    Pour into a sieve and drain. Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Wash the coriander, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stalks. Add the onion and garlic to the mince and fry briefly.

    Season with salt, pepper and Sambal Oelek. Deglaze with lime juice and soy sauce. Mix in the sprouts, lime zest, lime pieces and coriander. Heat and season again with salt, pepper and sugar.

    Arrange mince on plates. Serve the rice separately.
