Mince pan with limes and rice

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Organic limes
  • 250 g Basmati rice
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 600 g mixed mince
  • 150–200 g Mung bean seedlings
  • 8-10 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 potty Coriander
  • 2-3 TEASPOONS Sambal Oelek

Directions

    Well 1⁄2 l Boil up salted water. Peel and chop onion and garlic. Wash the limes hot and grate them dry. Cut 1 lime into pieces and rub the peel off the 2nd one. Squeeze the lime. Add rice to boiling water.

    Cover and cook at low heat for 15-20 minutes.

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the minced meat for about 10 minutes until crumbly. After 5 minutes, add onion, garlic and lime zest and fry for 5 minutes. Season everything with salt and pepper.

    Select the seedlings, wash and drain well. Add to the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add lime juice and soy sauce, bring to the boil.

    Wash and chop the coriander. Stir the lime pieces into the mince. Season everything with Sambal Oelek. Serve the minced meat and rice.
