Meatball with apple, marjoram and bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 1 medium onion
  • 600 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 small apple
  • 100 g diced smoked streaky bacon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Marjoram
  • 1 TABLESPOON sweet mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp Allspice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil

Directions

    Soak rolls in cold water. Peel and finely chop the onion. Knead with minced meat, squeezed out roll and egg. Peel apple and dice finely. Leave bacon in a pan without fat until crispy. Wash marjoram, shake dry, pluck leaves from the stalks and chop.

    Knead apple, bacon and marjoram into the mince. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, mustard and pimento. Shape 12 meatballs from it. Heat the oil in portions in the pan. Fry the meatballs in 2 portions for approx. 8 minutes until crispy.
