Meat skewers with orange-chili-sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 500 g Pork sausage
  • 1 TABLESPOON Low-fat curd
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Currants
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper a.d.M.
  • 2 (150 g each) Courgette
  • 1 untreated orange
  • 8 longer cinnamon sticks (alternatively shashlik skewers, meatballs then season with cinnamon)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Nut oil
  • 150 ml Vegetable stock
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Orange marmalade
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp dried, crushed chili
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Knead pork sausage, curd and currants. Season with pepper and form into small balls. Wash, clean, peel and slice the zucchini. Wash the orange and cut half into slices and wedges. Spread the meatballs, zucchini and orange slices on cinnamon sticks or shish kebabs (then season the meatballs with cinnamon). Fry in hot oil while turning for about 7 minutes.

    Remove the skewers. Swivel the orange slices briefly in the frying fat. Deglaze with stock and stir in jam. Season with salt and chilli. Serve skewers and sauce garnished with parsley. Serve with rice and yoghurt
