Matie filet on brown bread

Ingredients

  • 1 Maty filet (80-100 g)
  • 1 crimson apple
  • several sheets green salad (e.g. iceberg lettuce)
  • 1 Gherkin (from the jar)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS ripened cream
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Horseradish (from the jar)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 2 small slices of wholemeal bread
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Wash the herring fillet, dab dry and cut into narrow strips. Wash the apple, quarter it, core it and cut it into fine strips. Clean, wash and drain the salad. Cut lettuce and cucumber into fine strips.

    Mix sour cream with horseradish and season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Spread bread with fat and put on plates. Cover with apple, cucumber and salad strips. Finally arrange the matie strips on top.

    Add horseradish sauce and garnish with parsley.
