Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 1/8 l Milk
  • 1/2 package (240 g = 1 bag) Fixed dough for fruit cakes
  • 1 package (200 g) Marzipan raw mass
  • 150 g Butter
  • 1/2 Vanilla pod
  • 100 g Flour
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

  1. 1

Warm the milk and put it in a bowl together with the baking mixture. Work through with the dough hooks of the hand mixer until the dough comes off the edge of the bowl. Knead again briefly with your hands and roll out on the greased bottom of a springform pan (26 cm diameter).

  2. 2

Place the edge of a springform pan around the base and let the dough rise in a warm place for 20 minutes, covered. In the meantime, stir marzipan and 100 grams of softened butter until creamy. Melt the rest of the butter and let it cool down a bit.

  3. 3

Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Place in a bowl with flour and sugar. Add fat and knead to a crumbly dough. Press several dents into the yeast dough with two fingers and spread them into the hollows with a tablespoon of marzipan mixture.

  4. 4

Sprinkle with crumbles and bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C / gas: level 3) for 20 to 25 minutes. Cover at the end of the baking time if necessary. Serve as fresh as possible with whipped cream.

  5. 5

    Makes 12 pieces.
