Marinated paprika

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 yellow and orange peppers
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • some stem(s) fresh marjoram

Directions

    Halve the peppers, clean and wash them and place them on a baking tray with the skin side facing upwards. Grill it under the hot grill of the oven until the skin of the bell peppers blisters. Let the bell peppers cool down a little and peel off the skin. Cut the paprika into wide slices. Peel garlic and onion and chop finely.

    Mix with vinegar, salt and pepper and add the oil. Wash the marjoram, dab dry, pluck the leaves from the stalks and add to the marinade. Arrange the sliced peppers on a plate and pour the marinade over them. Leave to stand for about 2 hours. Italian white bread tastes good with it
