Maize plaice with dill potatoes

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 4 Plaice ready for cooking (approx. 400 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 2 lemons
  • 100 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 collar Spring onions
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 50 g Flour
  • 1 collar Dill
  • 7-10 Tbsp lemon wheel, lettuce leaf and dill

    Wash the potatoes and cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Clean and wash the fish, dab dry and sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut bacon into small cubes. Clean and wash spring onions and cut them into rings. Wash, quarter, seed and dice the tomatoes. Drain bacon in a pan, add spring onions and tomatoes and fry while turning. Season with salt and pepper and take out.

    Heat the oil in the pan. Mix flour and salt, turn the fish one after the other and fry them in the pan at medium heat on each side for about 4 minutes and keep warm. Wash the dill, dab dry and chop coarsely. Drain potatoes, rinse and peel. Turn potatoes in dill. Arrange potatoes and fish on plates, sprinkled with the diced bacon and vegetables. Garnish as you like with lemon wheels, lettuce leaf and dill
