Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 piece(s) (approx. 1,5 cm) Ginger
  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 8-10 discs Bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 400 g short pasta (e.g. rigatoni)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1 can(s) (850 ml) peeled tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Tomato Flakes
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of Tabasco
  • 1⁄2 Federation flat leaf parsley

    For the noodles, boil 3-4 l salted water (1 teaspoon salt per litre). Peel ginger and grate finely. Wash organic oranges hot, dry and finely grate the peel. Cut both oranges in half, squeeze and add 150 ml S

    Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

    Fry the bacon in a large coated pan without fat until crispy. Take out and let drain on kitchen paper. Add the noodles to boiling salted water and cook according to the instructions on the packet.

    Briefly sauté the ginger, onion and garlic in hot bacon fat. Stir in tomato paste. Deglaze with orange juice. Add tomatoes and juice and chop coarsely with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, 1 pinch of sugar, tomato flakes, Tabasco and orange peel.

    Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.

    Coarsely crumble the bacon. Wash parsley, shake dry, pluck off leaves and chop finely. Season sauce again. Pour the pasta into a sieve, rinse cold, drain and mix with the tomato-orange sauce in the pan.

    Arrange and sprinkle with bacon and parsley.
