Light pasta salad with peas and ham

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 350 g Spirelli
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 100 g frozen peas
  • 2 discs (40 g each) Cooked ham
  • 4 (approx. 80 g; glass) Gherkins
  • 1 red pepper
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Skimmed milk yoghurt
  • 2 TABLESPOONS light salad cream (16 % fat)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 12 Chive straws

Directions

    Prepare the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Blanch peas in salted water for 1-2 minutes and rinse with cold water. Cut the fat edge off the ham and cut the slices into strips.

    Cut the gherkins into small pieces. Clean, wash and quarter the peppers. Cut the paprika quarters into thin strips. Mix yoghurt, salad cream and approx. 3 tablespoons of cucumber water (glass) and possibly season with some salt and pepper.

    Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water. Wash the chives, dab dry and cut off the tips. Cut remaining chives into thin rings. Mix noodles, cucumber, paprika, peas, chives and ham.

    Add yoghurt salad cream and mix briefly. Fill the pasta salad into bowls and garnish with 3 chive tips each.
