Krautfleckerl (spicy cabbage noodles with mince)

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g wide ribbon noodles
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 200 g small onions
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 250 g mixed minced meat
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 75 ml Wine vinegar
  • 350 g Sauerkraut
  • 200 ml Vegetable stock (glass)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1/2 Beet Cress

Directions

    Prepare the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. In the meantime peel and halve the onions. Carve the chilli lengthwise, remove seeds and chop. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the minced onion over high heat for about 5 minutes, season with salt and chilli, remove.

    Melt the sugar in the same pan. Add onions, deglaze with vinegar, simmer for 2 minutes. Add sauerkraut and minced meat, deglaze with stock, simmer for 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper, fold in noodles. Arrange portion by portion sprinkled with cress
