Kohlrabi carrot soup with ham

Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 300 g Kohlrabi
  • 300 g Carrots
  • 1 l Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 1 package (300 g) frozen broad beans
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley
  • 30 g Butter
  • 40 g Flour
  • 1 (100 g) Cup of whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Peel, wash and cut the kohlrabi and carrots into pieces. Boil up the vegetable stock, add the kohlrabi and carrots and cook for 15 minutes. Add the beans to the other vegetables 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Cut ham into strips, wash parsley and chop finely. Put the vegetables on a sieve and let them drain. Collect broth. Heat butter in a pot, sauté flour in it. Gradually deglaze with the broth while stirring and bring to the boil. Add cream, season with salt and pepper. Add vegetables and ham to the soup and warm it up. Pour soup into a terrine and sprinkle with parsley
