Kasseler on chili-bean savoy

Ingredients

  • 3 medium-sized onions
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1/2 (approx. 750 g) Savoy cabbage
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1/2-1 TEASPOON Chilli powder
  • 1 TEASPOON Vegetable broth
  • 4 Kasseler chops (approx. 180 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp pepper, salt
  • 1 TABLESPOON Flour

Directions

    Peel the onions. Dice 1, cut 2 into rings. Peel and chop the garlic. Clean, wash and cut the savoy cabbage into strips. Fry the diced onion and garlic in 1 tbsp. hot oil

    Roast savoy cabbage for a while. Stir in tomato paste, a good 1/8 l water, chilli powder and stock

    Bring to the boil, cover and braise for 15-20 minutes, stirring from time to time

    In the meantime wash and dry the chops. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil. Fry chops for 4-5 minutes on each side. Season with pepper and keep warm

    Fry the onion rings in the frying fat. Dust with flour and fry briefly. Season savoy cabbage with salt and pepper. Arrange everything. Bread goes well with it
