Kasseler in apple sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 2 sour apples
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 (approx. 175 g) Kasseler cutlet
  • 2 stem(s) curly parsley
  • 75 ml Cider (sparkling cider)
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 1 TABLESPOON grainy mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash and quarter apples and remove core. Cut the flesh into pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice. Heat oil. Sauté the cutlet on each side for 3 minutes. Add onion and apple pieces. Fry for about 5 minutes together.

    Wash and chop the parsley. Take the cutlet aside. Deglaze the apple pieces with cider and whipped cream. Stir in mustard and parsley. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve with the cutlet
