  • 200 g cleaned beans (e.g. sliced and green beans)
  • 1 peeled onion
  • 2 stem(s) fresh or slightly dried thyme
  • 160 g peeled potatoes
  • 1 tsp (3 g) + 1/2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Vegetable broth
  • 1 (approx. 100 g) Lean triggered Kasseler cutlet
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper, salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

  1. 1

Wash the beans and cut into pieces. Finely chop the onion. Wash and chop the thyme. Wash the potatoes and cut them in half lengthwise.

  2. 2

Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a saucepan. Fry the onion until transparent. Add potatoes and beans and fry for about 3 minutes. Add 1/8 l water and bring to the boil. Stir in broth and thyme and simmer covered for about 15 minutes

  3. 3

Spread 1/2 teaspoon oil on a pan (possibly a grill pan) and heat it up. Fry the cutlet for about 3 minutes on each side. Season with pepper. Drain vegetables and season to taste. Arrange cutlet with bean vegetables. Garnish

  4. 4

Meat and green beans are good sources of B vitamins. Even with this meal you will consume on average half of the recommended daily requirement. These vitamins are important, e.g. for skin and nerves. Vitamin B1 is also involved in sugar metabolism
