  • 130 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 packages Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1-2 Drops of bitter almond aroma
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 125 g Almonds (with skin)
  • 15 g Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Knead flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, bitter almond flavoring and egg with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Then knead again well with floured hands. Knead in the almonds. Form the dough into a flat roll (approx. 2.5 cm high and 4.5 cm wide) on a floured work surface. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 45 minutes. After half of the baking time, brush with fat. Remove from the oven and cut immediately into slices of approx. 0.5 cm thickness
