Wash the tomatoes. Peel and slice the onion. Wash the meat, dab dry and season with salt and pepper. Wash thyme and rosemary and shake dry. Tie the meat into shape with a piece of kitchen string, tying one stalk of thyme and one stalk of rosemary each.
Heat the oil in a coated pan. Fry the meat for approx. 6 minutes, turning it over. After 4 minutes add onion and tomatoes. Arrange meat and vegetables on a plate. Dissolve frying mixture with 5 tablespoons of water.
Bring to the boil and drizzle over the vegetables and meat. Garnish with rosemary and pink berries. Serve with pita bread.
