Ingredients

Servings: 250
  • 100 g Butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp dried herbs of Provence
  • 2 (approx. 200 g; from the previous day) Baguette roll
  • baking paper

Directions

    Preheat oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: see manufacturer). Melt butter, stir in 1 tsp. salt, some pepper and 1 tsp. herbs of Provence. Cut the rolls into very thin slices.

    Place them side by side on baking trays lined with baking paper. Spread with the herb butter. Roast one after the other in a hot oven for about 10 minutes. Let it cool down and store it in tins.
