Ham triangles with shrimp filling (ham samosas)

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g raw shrimps (20 g each; without head, in shell)
  • 2 cm fresh ginger tuber
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 TEASPOON ground pimento
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 1 red onion
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 8 large slices of cottage ham (approx. 20 g each)
  • 1/4 Beet Cress

Directions

    Peel the shrimps, except for the tail fin, and remove the intestines. Wash and dry shrimps and cut them into fine pieces. Peel and chop the ginger. Mix prawns, ginger, lime juice, allspice and oil in a bowl. Leave to marinate for about 30 minutes

    Wash the chives, shake dry and cut into small rolls. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat up a pan. Fry the onion and prawns with marinade in a pan for approx. 3 minutes, turning them over. Pour into a bowl. Stir in chives, except for a little bit for garnishing. Season with salt and pepper and let cool off

    Place the mixture in the middle of the ham slices and fold from 3 sides into a triangle. Cut the cress from the bed and sprinkle the remaining chives over the ham triangles
