Ham croissant

Ingredients

  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 collar curly parsley
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter
  • 75 g ground almonds without skin
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Whipped cream
  • 1 TABLESPOON Mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 100 g Appenzeller (piece)
  • 1 (270 g) Roll of puff pastry
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • baking paper

Directions

    Cut the ham into cubes. ##peel and finely dice the onion## ##Parsley## wash, shake dry and chop. Heat butter. Steam onion in it until translucent. Stir in ham, ##almonds##, 2 tablespoons cream, mustard and parsley.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let it cool down a little bit.

    Grate cheese. Preheat the oven (electric cooker: 200°C/circulating air: 175°C/gas: level 3). Line a baking tray with baking paper. Unroll the dough and cut in half lengthwise. Cut each strip of dough into 3 rectangles of the same size and halve them diagonally to form triangles.

    Place on the tray.

    Spread the ham filling over the triangles and sprinkle with the cheese. Roll up the puff pastry from the long side towards the top. Whisk the egg yolk and 2 tbsp. cream and spread on the croissants.

    Bake in a hot oven for 18-20 minutes until golden brown. Eat croissants hot or cold.
