Ingredients

  • 500 g green beans
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 500 g Bottled tomatoes
  • 1 Vegetable Onion
  • 3-4 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 1-2 stem(s) Mint
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lemon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 4-5 Tbsp Olive oil

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the beans into bite-sized pieces. Cover and cook in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes. Then drain. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into slices. Peel onion and cut into fine slices.

    Wash the thyme and chop coarsely, except for a little to garnish. Wash and chop the mint. Mix lemon juice, salt, pepper and sugar. Fold in the oil. Stir in thyme and mint. Mix with beans, tomatoes and onion. Leave to stand for about 20 minutes. Flavour salad again. Garnish with the rest of the thyme.
