Greek tomato spaetzle with bacon

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 50 g streaky bacon
  • 1 TEASPOON + 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 2 packages (300 g each) fresh spaetzle (refrigerated shelf)
  • 150 g Feta cheese
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley
  • 100 g Tomato Pesto
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar

Directions

    Dice the bacon. Grease a large pan with 1 teaspoon of oil. Leave the bacon in it for 3-4 minutes while turning it, remove it and let it drip off. Add the spaetzle and 1 tbsp. oil to the hot frying fat and fry for approx. 4 minutes, turning.

    Dice the cheese. Wash the parsley, dab dry, pluck the leaves from the stalks and chop finely, except for something to garnish. Add pesto, bacon, cheese and chopped parsley to the spaetzle, season with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar.

    Arrange tomato spaetzle, garnish with parsley leaves.
