Nicely pulled through, it tastes just right the next day. And those who have enjoyed a lunch date with schnitzel rolls will love the gyros steak strips with it. So put it in the jar.

Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Gyros spice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 4 Minute steaks from pork (approx. 80 g each)
  • 150 g short noodles (e.g. macaroni)
  • 1 small red pepper
  • 200 g Cucumber
  • 1 pck (200 g each) Tsatsiki
  • 2 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Milk

    Bring 2-3 l salted water (1 teaspoon salt per litre) to the boil. Mix 2 tsp. gyros spice and 2 tbsp. oil. Dab meat dry and marinate in the spice oil.

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into small cubes. Wash cucumber and cut into thin slices. Mix tzatsiki, vinegar and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the noodles, rinse with cold water and drain.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan. Fry the steaks for about 2 minutes on each side. Mix noodles, paprika and cucumber with the tsatsik sauce. Cut the steaks into strips and arrange them on top.
