Greek minced steaks

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 baby onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 pickled cucumber
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 1 Sweet pepper (e.g. yellow)
  • 1 small romaine lettuce
  • 500 g minced beef, 1 egg
  • 1 TEASPOON dried oregano
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, rose paprika
  • 3-5 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Brandy (e.g. Metaxa)
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 1 TEASPOON clear soup
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS black olives
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp untreated lemon and oregano

Directions

    Peel and halve the onion. Cut one half into slices. Dice 1/3 of the remaining half finely and 2/3 roughly. Peel garlic and chop finely. Clean, wash and chop the vegetables. Clean, wash and cut the salad into coarse strips

    Knead minced meat, egg, fine diced onion, garlic, 1 teaspoon oregano, salt, pepper and rose pepper. Form approx. 8 flat oval steaks from it. Fry in 1-2 tablespoons of hot oil on each side for 5-6 minutes. Take out

    Fry the diced onion in hot frying fat. Add brandy, 200 ml water, cream, stock and possibly some oregano. Bring to the boil, simmer briefly and season to taste. Add the minced steaks and olives to the sauce and leave to stand for a short time

    Mix vinegar, salt and pepper. Fold in 2-3 tablespoons of oil. Mix vegetables, rest onion, salad and marinade. Arrange everything and garnish. Served with: Flatbread
