Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 750 g detached pork chop
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 7 black peppercorns
  • 1 package (450 g) Rösti-Taler
  • 500 g Broccoli
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter or margarine
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Granulated vegetable broth (instant)
  • 125 g Gouda cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg

Directions

    Peel 1 onion and cut into large pieces. Cook the smoked pork, bay leaf, pieces of onion and peppercorns in plenty of water for about 45 minutes. In the meantime, place the Rösti Taler on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Clean and wash the broccoli and cut the florets from the stems. Cook broccoli in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes.

    Drain and let drain. Clean and wash the mushrooms. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Peel and finely chop 1 onion. Heat 1 tablespoon of fat in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms. Take them out and let them drip off on kitchen paper. Add 1 tablespoon of fat to the pan and fry the onion in it. Dust with flour and sauté for about 1 minute. Deglaze with milk and cream, add stock and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Grate cheese finely. Remove from heat, add 75 g cheese and melt while stirring.

Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 20-30 minutes. Take out and serve immediately

    Season sauce with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Remove the sausages, drain and cut into slices. Put the slices of Kasseler, Rösti-Taler, mushrooms, broccoli and cherry tomatoes with the sauce in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with 50 g cheese. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 20-30 minutes. Take out and serve immediately
