Wash the meat, dab dry and chop finely. Clean, clean and halve the mushrooms. Peel and finely dice the onion. Wash thyme, shake dry and chop, except for something to garnish.
Heat the lard in a pan. Fry the diced turkey in it while turning over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove. Fry the mushrooms in the frying fat while turning for about 5 minutes.
Add the onion and fry briefly. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Add diced turkey again. Deglaze with cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Flavour again. Sprinkle cheese over it and let it melt.
Spread everything on the bread slices and garnish with thyme.
