Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 Dissolved pork chops (800-900 g)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 discs (approx. 60 g) streaky smoked bacon
  • 4 medium-sized onions
  • 200 ml dark beer (e.g. Gose or Duckstein)
  • 1 TEASPOON clear soup
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Cut the fat edge of the pork steaks 2-3 times. Heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the pork steaks in it for about 5 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper. Take out, wrap in aluminium foil and let rest for about 10 minutes.

    Fry bacon in hot frying fat until crispy. Peel onions and cut into rings. Remove bacon and keep warm. Fry onion rings in hot frying fat until golden brown. Take out half of the onions and keep warm

    Deglaze remaining onions with beer and 1/8 l water. Stir in stock. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season sauce with salt, pepper and a little sugar. Serve everything. Garnish with parsley. Serve with fried potatoes and a green salad

    Drink: cool beer (e.g. Gose beer) and iced grain (e.g. Nordhäuser Doppelkorn)
