  • 1 kg Gooseberries
  • 1 package Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 1 package (1 kg) Gelling sugar (1:1)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Whisky

Directions

    Clean and wash the gooseberries and let them drain on a sieve. Puree coarsely with a chopping stick. Bring the fruits with vanilla and jam sugar to the boil in a pot while stirring and let it boil for four minutes until it is bubbling.

    Remove from heat and stir in whisky. Pour into prepared glasses, close them immediately, turn them over and let them stand for five minutes. Makes four glasses of 450 ml each.
