Gnocchi pan with Kasseler and green beans

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 3 discs Bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 300 g detached pork chop
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 5 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 300 g Frozen green beans
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Flour
  • 150 g Whipped cream
  • 400 g fresh gnocchi (cooling shelf)

Directions

    Finely dice the bacon. Dab meat dry and cut into strips. Peel onion and garlic and dice finely. Wash the thyme, shake dry and remove the leaves. Cover the frozen beans and cook them in little boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes.

    In the meantime heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the meat and bacon for about 5 minutes while turning. Fry the onion, garlic and thyme briefly. Dust with flour and sauté. Deglaze with 200 ml water and cream, bring to the boil while stirring and simmer for 4-5 minutes.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Drain the beans and rinse with cold water. Add the beans and gnocchi to the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
