Gnocchi in mustard cream with bacon and chives

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of (600 g) Gnocchi
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Onion
  • 8 discs (10 g each) Bacon
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 250 g Whipped cream
  • 75 g grainy mustard
  • 1 collar Chives
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar

Directions

    Prepare the gnocchi in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Then pour into a sieve, quench briefly and drain well. In the meantime peel and finely dice the onion

    Leave out the bacon in 2 portions in a pan without fat while turning, remove. Add oil to the pan, heat up. Add the onion and fry until translucent, turning

    Deglaze with cream, add mustard and stir in. Bring to the boil and boil down for 4-5 minutes, stirring several times. In the meantime, wash the chives, shake them dry and, except for a few stalks for garnishing, cut them into fine rolls

    Season the sauce with salt, pepper and sugar. Mix in gnocchi and chives, heat up again briefly. Crumble some of the bacon. Arrange gnocchi in mustard sauce with bacon and chives on plates
