Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 red peppers (about 450 g)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 800 g Giros (ready seasoned)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 250 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 1/2 (approx. 275 g) Cucumber
  • 200 g Sheep's cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Rosemary and thyme

Directions

  1. 1

Clean, wash and cut the peppers into pieces. Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the giros and fry well while turning. Add paprika, fry briefly and braise at low heat for about 4 minutes. Meanwhile peel garlic and press it through a garlic press into a small mixing bowl. Add quark and yoghurt, season with salt and pepper. Wash the cucumber, grate roughly and stir into the quark.

  2. 2

Pour the giros into four small or one large ovenproof dish. Crumble feta cheese over them. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve immediately garnished with rosemary and thyme. Add tzatsiki in a small bowl. Flatbread tastes good with it
