   Boil up honey, sugar and fat while stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Leave to cool. Mix flour, baking powder, cocoa, spice mixture and orange baking and knead into the honey mixture with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Wrap the dough in foil and let it rest for 1 hour. In the meantime cut 3 templates: 1 rectangle (11,5 x 15 cm), 1 square (20 x 20 cm), 1 gable side (width x height: 11,5 x 18 cm). Roll out the dough 5 mm thick.

   Cut out 4 rectangles, 1 square and 2 gable sides with a knife. Put all pieces on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Cut out stars from the front and cut out a door from the back (it must be big enough to put a tea light in the cottage). Bake the baking trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 8-10 minutes. Take out and let cool down. Whisk the egg white with the whisk of the hand mixer until stiff, adding icing sugar. Cut tissue paper to size and stick it on the inside in front of the stars. Pour the icing into a piping bag with a star nozzle. Spray the gingerbread edges with icing. Glue front, back and sides together. Then place the roof parts on the house.

Pour the icing into a piping bag with a star nozzle. Spray the gingerbread edges with icing. Glue front, back and sides together. Then place the roof parts on the house. Put the house on the square. Decorate the house with cast iron on all edges and around the foundation. Cut almonds and cherries in half. Decorate the outside and the roof with them. Dust with icing sugar
