Garlic soup

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 12 Garlic cloves
  • 3 sage leaves or lovage
  • 150 g shredded cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 Baguette slices

Directions

    Peel the garlic cloves and cut into thin slices. Add sage or lovage to 1 l water and simmer covered for 30 minutes until garlic is soft. Season with salt and pepper.

    Brown the baguette slices in a pan until golden brown and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven until cheese has melted.
