Fried potatoes with bacon and onions

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 kg waxy potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3 medium-sized onions
  • 75 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper

Directions

    Wash potatoes thoroughly and cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. In the meantime peel and finely dice the onions. Cut the bacon into small cubes. Drain the potatoes, rinse with cold water, let them cool down and peel the skin.

    Cut the potatoes into slices. Heat the oil in a pan, drain the bacon and add the potatoes and fry them until golden brown, turning them over. Shortly before the end of the frying time, add the onions and fry them.

    Season the fried potatoes with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
