Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 1 kg Potatoes (waxy)
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 75 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 750 g Summer Savoy Cabbage
  • 3 (approx. 300 g) Krakow sausages
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 250 g Schmand
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated muscatel
  • 100 g medieval Gouda cheese

Directions

    Wash potatoes thoroughly and boil water for about 20 minutes. In the meantime peel and dice the onions. Dice the bacon. Clean and wash the savoy cabbage and remove the stalk. Cut cabbage into coarse strips. Cut the kielbasa diagonally into thick slices. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan and fry the kielbasa briefly.

    Add savoy cabbage, sauté briefly and deglaze with stock. Bring to the boil and braise for 5-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan. Drain potatoes, quench and drain. Peel the skin. Cut potatoes into slices. Put bacon in a pan, add onions and fry briefly. Take both out. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in the bacon fat. Fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes while turning them over until golden brown. Finally add bacon and onions again. Season the fried potatoes with salt and pepper.

    Cut potatoes into slices. Put bacon in a pan, add onions and fry briefly. Take both out. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in the bacon fat. Fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes while turning them over until golden brown. Finally add bacon and onions again. Season the fried potatoes with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan. Mix the fried potatoes, cabbage and sausage and put them into a large casserole dish or roaster. Mix sour cream, eggs, a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Grate cheese finely. Pour pour over the casserole and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 45-50 minutes

    Remove from the pan. Mix the fried potatoes, cabbage and sausage and put them into a large casserole dish or roaster. Mix sour cream, eggs, a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Grate cheese finely. Pour pour over the casserole and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 45-50 minutes
