Fried noodles with vegetables and ham

Ingredients

  • 200 g Asian/oriental wheat noodles
  • 5-6 Tbsp Soybean oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Leek (leek; approx. 300 g)
  • 2 (approx. 200 g) Carrots
  • 100 g cooked ham, sliced
  • 100 g Bean sprouts
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 7-8 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sambal Oelek

Directions

    Put the pasta and 1-2 tablespoons of oil in plenty of boiling salted water and cook for about 5 minutes. Pour onto a sieve, rinse with cold water and drain. Clean and wash the leek and carrots.

    Cut leek into fine rings, carrots into strips. Cut ham into strips as well. Clean, wash and drain the bean sprouts. Peel garlic and press it through a garlic press.

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan or wok, fry the carrots and leek for 3-4 minutes, turning them over. Finally, add sprouts and some soy sauce and braise briefly. Remove from the pan. Heat the remaining oil in the pan, add the noodles and ham.

    Stir in garlic and 1 tablespoon of Sambal Oelek and fry until golden brown. Fold the vegetables into the noodles, heat up briefly and season with soy sauce and Sambal Oelek.
