Fried cheese sticks on salad

Ingredients

  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Vinegar
  • 1 TEASPOON Honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Rapeseed oil
  • 3-4 Stem(s) Oregano
  • 1 Mini Romaine lettuce
  • 4–5 Tomatoes
  • 1–2 Onions (e.g. red)
  • 200–250 g Gouda (play)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 3-4 Tbsp Sesame
  • 50 g Caper apples (glass)

Directions

    Whisk vinegar, honey, salt and pepper. Fold in 2 tablespoons of oil. Wash oregano, pluck off leaves and stir in approx. 2⁄3.

    Clean the salad, wash and drain well. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Peel onions and cut into thin rings.

    Cut the cheese into 8-12 thick sticks. Whisk the egg and season with pepper and the rest oregano. Turn cheese first in flour, then in egg and finally in sesame.

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Fry the cheese for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Mix salad, tomatoes, onions, caper apples and marinade. Arrange on plates and arrange cheese sticks on top.
