Fried Brussels sprouts with chicken teriyaki

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts (with bone; à approx. 350 g)
  • 10 tablespoons (100 ml) Teriyaki marinade or soy sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp 750 g-1 kg Brussels sprouts
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 200 g Long grain rice
  • 2 TABLESPOONS oil + possibly 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3-4 tablespoons (50 g) Cashew nuts
  • 1 go. Tbsp. apricot jam
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sambal Oelek or Cayenne pepper

    Cut the chicken breast fillets and skin from the bone. Cover and marinate in the Teriyaki marinade for about 3 hours. From time to time w

    Clean and wash the Brussels sprouts. Cover and steam in little boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Soak the rice in 400 ml boiling salted water covered for about 20 minutes

    Take out the meat, dab dry, keep the marinade. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Fry fillets for 5-6 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper

    4.1 Heat up a tablespoon of oil. Fry the Brussels sprouts for about 5 minutes. Fry the cashew nuts for the last 2 minutes. Remove everything. Dissolve the frying mixture with 100 ml water and the marinade, bring to the boil. Stir in jam, Sambal Oelek and sesame oil. Serve everything
