Fried bananas with maple syrup and pistachios

Ingredients

  • 4 small bananas
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 50 g Butter or margarine
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Pistachios
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Maple syrup
  • 1 Lime
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm

Directions

    Peel and halve the bananas and cut them into different sized pieces. Turn the pieces in breadcrumbs. Heat the fat in a pan. Fry the bananas until golden brown. Coarsely chop the pistachios. Cut lime into thin slices.

    Spread the banana pieces on plates. Pour maple syrup over the pieces. Sprinkle with pistachios. Decorate with lime slices and lemon balm.
