Put the sausages in 1/2 litre of boiling water and simmer for 15 minutes at low heat. Meanwhile, peel and finely dice the onions. Peel and wash the carrots and potatoes, cut the carrots into diagonal slices and the potatoes into larger cubes.
Remove the pork sausages from the liquid and put them aside. Melt the fat in a large saucepan. Brown the onions in it. Add the carrots, sliced beans with the liquid, diced potatoes, savory and stock from the sausages, bring to the boil and cover the stew and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
Add the pork sausages to the stew five minutes before the end of the cooking time and heat up. Season the broad bean stew with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
