Frankfurt green soup with puff pastry cushion

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 1 deep-frozen, rectangular puff pastry sheet (approx. 10,5 x 19,5 cm; approx. 50 g)
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • baking paper

Directions

    Defrost the puff pastry at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Cut 8 thin strips from the long side of the plate. Cut the plate into 8 rectangles of equal size. Whisk the egg. Put the dough pieces on a baking tray covered with baking paper and brush with egg.

    Lay the 8 strips to form bows, if necessary cut them a little shorter at the ends. Place them on the puff pastry pieces and brush with egg as well. Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 10-12 minutes. Take out.
