Nems with cooked ham

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 pack of (250 g) Strudel dough sheets filo or yufka dough (10 sheets each 30 x 31 cm; refrigerated shelf, only 4 sheets are needed)
  • 100 g Mung bean sprouts
  • 8 discs cooked ham
  • 1/2 Pot of coriander
  • 20 g Butter
  • 200 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS hulled sesame seed
  • 100 ml Sunflower oil
  • 200 ml Soy sauce

    Let the dough sheets rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Wash the sprouts and drain well. Cut ham into strips. Wash coriander, shake dry and chop the upper 1/3 of the stems coarsely. Melt butter. Remove 4 filo pastry sheets and brush them thinly with butter. Quarter the leaves

    Season cream cheese with salt and pepper to taste. Spread 1 teaspoon of cream cheese on the middle of each quarter of dough. Spread ham, sprouts and coriander on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Fold the sides towards the middle over the filling, then roll up from one long side

    Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the spring rolls for 5-8 minutes until golden brown. Serve the nems with soy sauce
