Fish fillet in golden brown crust

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 7-10 Tbsp 800 g-1 kg potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 2 packages (300 g each) Frozen butter vegetables
  • 4 Catfish or cod fillets (700-800 g)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 75 g Gouda cheese (e.g. medieval)
  • 3-4 heaped Tbsp Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 TABLESPOONS butter/margarine
  • 3-4 Stem(s) Parsley

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cook in salted water for about 20 minutes

    Boil 200 ml of water. Cover and cook deep-frozen vegetables for about 8 minutes over low heat. Stir more often

    Wash the fish, pat dry and sprinkle with lemon juice. Grate cheese finely. Mix with flour. Whisk the egg. Season fish with salt and pepper. Turn first in the egg and then in the cheese and flour mixture. Heat the fat. Fry the fish on each side at low heat for 3-4 minutes until golden brown

    Wash and chop the parsley. Drain the potatoes. Serve with fish fillet and vegetables. Sprinkle with parsley
