Wash and clean the strawberries and cut into small cubes. Mix the strawberries with 1 tbsp. sugar. Covered and let stand for about 10 minutes.
Sift the icing sugar. Whip the cream until stiff, then add icing sugar. Break the meringue into small pieces and stir into the cream. Wash mint, shake dry and pluck off leaves.
Divide half the meringue-cream mixture into four glasses. Add half of the marinated strawberries. Layer the remaining meringue-cream mixture and strawberries in the same way. Decorate with mint.
