English chocolate pudding with apples and pecan nuts

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 small apples (about 125 g each)
  • 50 g Pecan kernels
  • 50 g Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Cocoa powder
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 50 g Butter
  • 100 g Dark chocolate
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Peel apples, cut out the core. Cut apples into slices of about 1 cm thickness and place them in a greased mould (approx. 1.2 litres capacity). Sprinkle pecan nuts over it.

    Mix flour, cocoa and sugar. Press a depression in the middle, add eggs and about 1/3 of the milk. Mix everything slowly with a whisk. Add the rest of the milk and mix. Melt butter and stir slowly.

    Pour the dough into the form and bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 35 minutes.

    Chopping chocolate. Take the pudding out of the oven, sprinkle with the chocolate and let it cool down for about 20 minutes.
