Double chocolate pudding with punch cherries

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Organic Orange
  • 1 glass (720 ml) Sour cherries
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp 1 P. Vanilla sauce powder (for 1⁄2 l milk; for cooking)
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 pinch according to cardamom
  • 100 g Dark chocolate
  • 1⁄2 l Milk
  • 1 package Chocolate pudding powder

Directions

    Wash orange hot and rub dry. Peel the peel spirally with a peeler. Drain the cherries well in a sieve, collecting the juice. Fill up the juice with water at 1⁄2 l

    Stir 6 tbsp. cherry juice, 2 tbsp. sugar and sauce powder until smooth. Boil up the rest of the juice, cinnamon, cardamom and orange peel. Stir in the sauce powder, bring to the boil and simmer for about 1 minute. Stir in cherries.

    Pour into a bowl and allow to cool, stirring from time to time. Remove the cinnamon stick and orange peel.

    Break chocolate into pieces. Stir 6 tbsp. milk, 2 tbsp. sugar and pudding powder until smooth. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil and remove from the stove. Add chocolate and melt in it while stirring.

    Put the pot back on the stove and stir in the mixed pudding powder. Bring to the boil again while stirring and simmer at low heat for about 1 minute. Pour immediately into four dessert glasses. Spread a few spoons of punch cherries on top.

    Serve pudding warm or cold. Add the remaining cherries.
