Wash the steaks and pat them dry. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the steaks briefly on both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Fry over medium heat for about 6 minutes. In the meantime clean, wash and slice the tomatoes. Drain cheese and cut into slices. Cut a pot of basil into fine strips. Roast the slices of toast in a toaster. Put 2 slices of toast on each of four plates. Place steaks on both toast slices and cover with prepared ingredients. Sprinkle with pepper and bake in a hot oven for about 3 minutes. Serve garnished with remaining basil
