Ingredients

  • 250 g + some flour
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 3 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 egg + 1 egg white (size M)
  • 125 g soft butter
  • 125 g Sugar crystals
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Place 250 g flour, sugar, 1 vanillin sugar and 1 pinch of salt on a work surface. Press a depression in the middle. Add the egg, spread butter in flakes on the rim and knead everything briefly with your hands until smooth. On a little flour, make 3 rolls (25 cm each), then form triangles with a ruler if necessary. Wrap in foil and chill for about 45 minutes

    Mix 2 vanillin sugar and sugar crystals. Whisk the egg whites. Spread the rolls with it and turn them into sugar crystals. Cut into approx. 25 slices each. Place on baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2) for about 15 minutes
