Ingredients

  • 400 g red currants
  • 350 ml Buttermilk
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 1 (approx. 70 g) scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Cassis (currant liqueur; alternatively currant juice)

Directions

    Wash and clean the currants. Put 4 panicles aside for decoration. Strip the berries from the panicles with a fork. Fill the currants, buttermilk, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla ice cream into a tall cup and puree for about 2 minutes.

    Add the cassis or currant juice and continue to puree briefly. Pour into 4 glasses and decorate with currant panicles.
